On August 15, 2021, Kazuko Tanaka was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun, gold and silver rays, for her contribution to the development of floral art and for her many years on involvement with the Montreal Chapter of Ikebana International
50th anniversary of montreal chapter
For the 50th anniversary of the Montreal Chapter, the Consul general of Japan M, Jun Saito delivered the price of the Consul to our president of our association Mrs Andrée Kordich for our contribution to the promotion of ikebana, traditional Japanese art and the friendship between Canada and Japan.
